Rep. Henry Waxman (D) is the only guy I would donate to for re-election. You should see him investigating the Enron debacle as shown in the movie, "The Smartest Guys in the Room."
When I interviewed at AIG in Houston, the car service driver that took me from the airport, to the hotel, from the hotel to AIG to the airport at the end told me that there were many times they took Enron executives to the airport to go on private jets with very heavy bags. When they asked why were the bags so heavy, the execs said the were full o'money.
This past week has been an Enron- like jerk-off on Wall Street, except instead of California being screwed, it's the entire US and their children and grandchildren.
Thank you President Bush, and your cronies, for all that.
Vote for Obama--save your future from the Senile One who doesn't know that Spain isn't in this hemisphere and picked Caribou Barbie as a running mate so he could fiddle with his ring when he watches her ass when they are on the campaign trail together.
Looked at the electoral map--wtf with LA? If wiping out one of their main draws with the compete ineptitude of the Katrina response wasn't enough to turn that state dark blue, I don't know what is. If SF was hit by an earthquake and the piss poor FEMA/Chertoff response happened there, I doubt that all of CA would turn Republican.
Better than Obama (I live in VT, our votes are for Obama, so my vote does not matter) vote for Barr-Root. They would never ever give money to privat industry (isn't the basis of capitalism risk vs. reward? If there is no risk, then is there no capitalism? A friend calls this whole nonsense "socialist-capitalism.").
