round, again, on a saturday

accomplished stuff on saturday (yesterday) ... after getting up and about around 8 AM-ish ... 'cept found out after the 1st errand that i didn't have much battery life on my camera and that ramona was left at home. so i'm totally light on pics. HOWEVER, i did remember to bring along my l'il moleskine pocket journal ... for random memorable (or not so memorable) quotes, ideas, story elements, or doodles moments, or a combination of any of these. maybe the need to memorialize a crazy stream of consciousness, even?! tartar sauce.

saturday was a productive day and expected also to be productive through today. decided to go to rei to buy me something my bro (who is a dad!) a very cool jacket for his weekend harley outings. got the windstopper by mountain hardwear. (yes, i'm a nice sister.) oh. and i also bought something for my sister-in-law and for myself. (why not?!)

then ... just like last saturday, headed over to peet's, but this time i didn't just pick-up coffee and bolt. totally decided to catch-up and do some work stuff. on my way from rei to peet's, listened to a new CD - saltbreakers by laura veirs. (and why the f*** can't i play this on my squirrelinator?! ugh!!!) would've loved to see laura veirs when she was in town this past week. so bummed to have missed the show.

o.k. - about the rest of saturday ... after a small latte, a blackberry raspberry scone, a pot o' jasmine downy pearls, and more than 3 hours at peet's, headed over to target for a little more retail therapy (to reward myself for updating my qualifications blurb). on my way from peet's to target, listened to hold on by tyrone wells (and looks like i will not be heading into the city tomorrow night for his show at cafe du nord - must. keep. catching. up. invoice. pay. vendors. write. memos.).

then back home to tackle r|garage (nothing fun or dorky - or chem-e-ish - found) and to launder color stuff. making progress.

re-charged the camera batteries. worked some and will continue to do so today. must. keep. catching. up. invoice. pay. vendors. write. memos.
