THOSE KEEPING SCORE - FIRST AND FOREMOST ... whoever your FINAL 3 are for this episode - THESE **ARE** YOUR FINAL 3. there will be NO MORE "adjustment options" UNLESS bravoTV throws some other freak curveball.

just like we kinda do in cubeopolis among the pr5air cubesters to explain things, here are a few "case studies" of the points system explained.

i originally explained the adjustment option like a kind of handicap - bowling or golf. that perspective is considering that the "lower 50%-ile" pr5air-ers get the little adjustment where they do not "lose" any points for making final 3 changes.

after thinking this through, from a different perspective, for the "upper 50%-ile" pr5air-ers, it's like the wheel of fortune - where you "buy a vowel", kind of, sort of. you (upper pr5air-ers) pay for the benefit of buying a vowel. in keeping with the wheel of fortune analogy, for the "lower 50%-ile" pr5air-ers, this is as if you have a "free spin", kind of, sort of.

ASSUME: the following variables -

• ORIGINAL FINAL 3 ... the final 3 picks that you chose GOING IN TO epi9
• +1 ... the "bonus" pick of your final 3 picks that you chose GOING IN TO epi9
• ORIGINAL ADJUSTED FINAL 3 ... the final 3 picks you have with your +1 REPLACING terri. (go figure ... for some reason, no one had blayne in their final 3)
• ADJUSTMENT OPTION ... any of the original adjusted final 3 MAY BE CHANGED. however, by doing so, there are penalty points.
  
• NEW FINAL 3 ... the original adjusted final 3 have been changed

CASE A1: sactofloyd

• sactofloyd, coming GOING IN to epi9, had the following for his ORIGINAL FINAL 3 and his +1:

CASE A3: sactofloyd - considering what sactofloyd had going in to epi9, let's move through the above example a little differently after that ...

ADJUSTMENT OPTION ... let's say, unlike CASE A1, sactofloyd chooses to replace korto with suede. not only would that make sactofloyd clearly insane, it would result in the following for his NEW FINAL 3:

heads up ... the following will bore you, maybe EVEN IF you are in pr5air, but at least pr5air people, read on (please).

everyone is on the board with points. cobra kai and buzz need to pick their 3 practice finals (however unlike l.a.g., who has chosen the martyrdom route). and jenm, commish and fashionista are glad that daniel got booted and that they did submit their practice picks!

almost time to pick the final 3 and a 4th one, just in case bravoTV throws some weird curve ball and just in case for the fan favorite ... epi7 is just one(-plus) episode away from when final picks are required. after epi8, final picks are due. (and then three more episodes until ll cool j in epi11!)

bonus points for epi7 ... the commish and i shared a chocolate-frosted, angel food cake and had 2 rounds of a grapefruit mimosa and boony doon's sangiovese (respectively). that said, we have the following bonus point opportunities - but you can't get extra points unless you partake. so here are a few questions - 4 (four) YES/NO questions and 2 (two) "WHICH DESIGNER?" categories.

almost time to pick the final 3 (or 4?) ... epi6 is near mid-way. the plan has been to pick after epi8. given the original plan, epi6 will be "practice pick" week.

practice pick (optional) ... simply put, pick 3 people you believe may be your final 3. choose wisely because as we move forward toward epi11 (gahhhhrrrrrrrrr - ll cool j in epi11!), these practice picks may get you progressive points ... 0.50 or whatever. (haven't worked out this idea, yet).

on the final 3 ... you will, HOWEVER, be allowed to pick a DIFFERENT set of "final 3" **IF** you choose to do so. however, this practice pick will serve a purpose even throughout the remainder of the episodes. you get only ONE practice-pick; no swapping out afterwards.

practice-pick-later ... if you decide not to epi6-practice-pick but then later decide to epi7-practice-pick or epi8-practice-pick, you are gaming the system, so we'll consider it. however, wcdbunny must talk with the anti-scorekeeper, l.a.g., about this math-logic. or maybe jenm's lawnmower-jockey has some math ideas.

• designer who received the BEST SLAM from tim gunn (and of course this being subjective, we'll just see how this gets settled in cubeopolis and on blog comments - haven't forgotten about the virtuals!)
