[pr5air peeps ... where is my chocolate-anything?!] ... this post includes the results AND some early blog hunting & gathering. for epi10 history - epi10 posts included the initial shout-out, the buy-a-vowel point system, and the video previews reminder.

here are the scores to date of the pr5air peeps. [spoiler alert]

so let's talk about each pr5air-er's picks and their results:

• three points anyone? ... no one chose winner + loser
• winner or loser ... only 1 person chose the winner (su/sd), while 3 chose the loser (fashionista, commish, sactofloyd)
• final 3 picks result in "the end of the road" ... for 2 pr5air-ers, this was their last epi. so who are left?

and what was epi10 about? ... mom's came out. designers told they would design for the mom's daughters ("l'il girls" accordingly to jerrel) - recent college graduates in their 20s for head-to-toe-makeovers transitioning into the real work world. black velvet bag of random pair-ups with gals + designers. then off to the workroom for 30-min consultation with the gals + moms. then off to mood for fabric picks. then back to workroom ... so that bravotv would use it as an opportunity to have little snippet stories showing pics of younger leanne, joe, and kenley.

and when back from commercials, another snippet story showing pic of younger jerrel, then round 2 of a 30-min consultation & fitting for daughter with mom (which provides a l'il more insight to the mom + daughter relationship - yikes for leanne's team. bummer). and as epi10 heads toward commercial, way more of kenley than is necessary. (really. too much.)

and when back from commercial, a fitting for the daughters (sans mom) ... and special guest smooth-skin-lead-(TRESemmé)-hairstylist jeanie syfu who announces the winning look will be in elle magazine - and then some hair consult with the daughters. a little more with the designers and more of kenley talking. (aargh!!!) ... next day - back in the workroom with the daughters + designers, off to the TRESemmé hair salon for some stylin' - back in the workroom and AARGH!!! SHE is still talking.

and when back from commercial, on the runway with moms hanging out with designers ... creations coming down that runway. stuff happening. winner & loser announced.

blogging project runway ... just as they did for previous episodes, bpr has posted pics of epi10 designer creations. go on over to BPR and throw in your two cents - who should have won and which TWO should have been auf'd. will update this link when the epi10-recapalooza is available. meanwhile, enjoy bpr's past recapaloozas.

dust bunny after my fever broke ... go to his epi10 recap and enjoy as i did. and let me say the one thing i did, as paying homage to my fave - against my better judgment (but because i had to celebrate feeling just a little better), i went to arby's. (yippee me!) in any case ... here are some tidbits on some of the pairings of designer + daughters:

• This may be the only human that Stankley has ever been nice to, all because Anna is wearing a blouse from a flea market. Go figure.
• They are both tall, lanky, and somewhat awkward. But Caitlin also tries to stay away from being too girly – whereas JerHell can never be too girly. Ever.
• Leanne’s mother/daughter team won the gold medal in the Loud Talk Mother/Daughter Olympics. OMG – these two don’t shut up. ... Leanne silently stares them down, wondering if you can surgically remove a voicebox with fabric shears.
• Mom wants “very feminine”, Avital wants “not too feminine”. If they were familiar with Suede’s work, they would both be hoping for “just don’t make it too ugly”.

and then i share similar sentiments:

• Since there are only 6 designers left, and many of them are boring, there aren’t enough things going on to keep our interest.
• Hi God, it’s me David again. PLEASE let those statements from Stankley be foreshadowing of her aufing. And please make her cry when it happens. Thanks God – I appreciate it. Amen.

the minx's ... another fun epi10 recap read! love the "gordon gekko" reference! great little blurbs on each designer's creation (and soooo agree about the kenley outfit and i soooo want to cut kenley).
