delicate flower in the BA hood - soon

aka billn of VT visiting shirlsd's hood this week to pass the time upon BA arrival (tomorrow) and perhaps when his work-ish, pointy-building stuff for this isn't in motion.

... ahhh ... the good ol' days when i was not in cubeopolis and running wild in the free market. and just thinking about the good ol' days, what else can i dig up from the blog posts of the past ...? (also known as hyperlink hell)

• r|intern ... albeit quite involved, was so very fulfilling. had a less formal internship program in the '90s. this '90s list of interns reminds me i have yet to moniker-ize millenial list o'terns for the '00-'05s [because of a l'il melancholy when i think of not having this opportunity, i morphed r|intern into p2p (a pilot program) at cubeopolis. still in pilot stage. and still no tommy's in the BA.]
  
• hard hat attire despite no sartorialism around construction sites (not that i'm at all a fashionista)
  
• business "meetings" at hq, on the course, at a client's office to hang out, when there is free food, in historic places where friends are sporting the r|wear, at a brewery, to fulfill corporate obligations, during lunch with vendors and subcontractors,
  
• traveling ... back-to-back events, hunting for e-outlets, places where snow is normal and single digit temps exist,
  
• time zones actually mattered for coordinating last minute deliverables
