ode-ish(?) to r|alex
this is an r|alex moment.(hi, alex!)

having been remiss, i neglected to include a little tradition i had in the heyday of discovering the BA. simply put:

absolution? ... it's sunday, so i am posting this for a bit of absolution. perhaps not necessarily considered a mortal sin, i have shrugged my r|alex (self-imposed)obligations. r|alex provided me with the incentive to charge my rechargeable batteries, take pics, get out and about, and blog - blog about my getting out and about, about a little here and some there.
the reminder? ... well, in the little funk i have hit over the past several weeks (for which i'm emerging), i received this wake-up call (comment) last month.
OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!! Wow, looks like you're really acclimated now. Are you going to keep the name of your blog? I mean, seriously, you've been gone like, over a year now. :) The plants you bought for the balcony.... STILL F***ING ALIVE!!!, dontcha know. Woo Hoo!! Sorry for not at least saying hello on here for a while. Be well!in response:
- blog name - keeping the blog name 'cuz there is so much to discover in the BA (while still missing SD) and 'cuz only 5 people really check-in, so really? what would a name change provide except make it look like i have a ton o' blogs?
- "... over a year now. :)" - turns out, as of today, it has been 1 year-5 months-10 days. on the day i received the comment above, 1 year-4 months-14 days.
- plants still alive - well, i hope so. they were quite the investment to replace (with a couple of cousins of the original trees) the twigs o' ficusses benjamina that were occasionally neglected by me. and if you still hang out on the balcony every smoke ... er ... i mean every once in a while, i'm sure they like the plants love the company.
- salt lamps - btw, i still have yet to purchase a couple of those salt lamps. will do so.
- step 6 - reconnect with r|alex! charge my batteries, lug my camera, and do steps 1 through 5 at least weekly.

**Okay, okay...keep the blog name... It must be a hassle to change anyway, and you'd have to change the url too... or at least put a redirect in there.
** Maybe only 5 people read the blog, but they are 5 very high quality people who love you.
** I love my salt lamps. They are available everywhere now.
** So what's up with the love life? Hopefully A.P. guy hasn't come around again. (That was just plain nasty). :) As for me, I am starting to get back into the swing of things. Coffee here, tennis there.... eady types of things. even my friends are trying to hook me up... When more develops, I wil let you know.
*** Come back to SD soon. We need to go to Urban Solace. I hear its great. Or Sushi is always a good thing.
