ReLo'd to BA from SD

in late 2006, relocated my angst, business, and social life to NoCal from SoCal ... just a 40-something chick in the 'burbs of the SF bay area who randomly posts about random topics ... the occasional quirky stories of dating (or not) at 40-ish, work-week cubeopolis frivolity, rambling musings on nostalgika, and the occasional introspective moments in life.(thanks for visiting! >p, b)

r|break: not cube-alabras ...

Bookmark and Share

... but still. we haven't had another installment of cube-alabras since summertime - so here's a cubeopolis bit of info. it's office-ey related, kinda, sorta ...
"Several weeks ago the building completed its project to install new low-flow commodes in the women’s restrooms and low-flow valve flush kits for the commodes and urinals in the men’s restrooms. Since the completion of the project, a number of employees have complained to us in the Safety, Health and Facilities Office about the operation of the toilets. By far the most common complaint comes from the men’s side of the house, where frustrated users find that multiple flushes are needed. When we receive these or other building complaints, we promptly forward the complaint(s) to the building management for action."
there was a l'il more, but this is probably enough.
just sharin' the love.

So these are commolabras? And people who sing in such toilets are called Comm-odors? Would their lead singer be named Urinal Richie?

Comm-odors sounds more like the fragrance after said cubester exits...

Is Urinal Richie a bedwetter? This sure sounds like a playground moniker to me.

jamie! LMAO as much as you want!!! we got your back(ass) covered.

because i know that jamie is a female, and i believe the low-flow commodes in the women's restroom can handle the "AO" in the "LMAO" - no problemo.

I didn't know your workplace was segregated, "the men's side of the house", do you have separate drinking fountains too?

Why can't the men's toilet be designed as a recliner?

I'd call it a La-Z-Boilet.

Of course, I would not opt for the drink holder, but some people might.
