and as i type, i'm catching up on pr5air by having epi8 in the background. so post episode 8 (with pr5air epi8 results here), and now it's time to go blog hunting & gathering (bhg) - checking out the web resources for the download.

blogging project runway ... just as they did for previous episodes, bpr has posted pics of epi8 designer creations. go on over to BPR and throw in your two cents - who should have won and who should have been auf'd. here is the epi8-recapalooza (and LOOK-LOOK-LOOK! ddust is the FIRST ONE on the list - that's 'cuz he is fab! again, you MUST agree with me or I WILL CUT YOU!) and enjoy bpr's past recapaloozas 'cuz i didn't update the epi7 bhg post.

dust bunny ("WORK! FIERCE!")... LOVE HIM!!! so i am gonna read his recap right now while i watch epi8!

(reading, chuckling, smirking, laughing, ...) AND OMG! just heard hetero-joe say and sing/hum stupid shit stuff like "ching-chong-oriental" - what a dork. i mean, he didn't say "smooth skin"!!! (reading some more and chuckling) bravo keeps inserting the snippets of kenley tearing-up & crying. (reading, watching t.v., listening, reading) what is jerhell wearing? i like leanne's snarky remarks about joe. boy-oh-boy, does make-up ever make stella look different. now toward the end of the episode. kenley talks lots. how i would love to see what ended up on the cutting room floor for the epi8-runway-judges moments.

'nuff 'bout my typing stuff as i watch epi8. just go to his epi8 recap and enjoy a few of his tidbits that i shall cut/paste below:

• "Tim, who was NOT about to get his suit dusty helping a junkie, suggests if Stella can’t reach something she should “move on”. This also happens to be my strategy in Latino stripper bars."
• "Suede has returned to speaking in the 3rd person and is doing “Berlin Camouflage”. Let’s hope it doesn’t end up like this:" (go to his recap! MUST SEE IMAGE)
• "MORE tears from Kenley ... mumbles something about Wal-Mart and K-Mart. Now discount stores make Kenley cry?!? I don’t know much about female hormones, but if they make you crazy like this, I’m glad I don’t date women. Although “straight” Puerto Rican ex-convicts are no walk in the park either. Trust me."
• "Of the losers, Suede is safe and thus still eligible for a neck-stabbing. It is down to Joe’s “Hong Kong Fuey” outfit, and Stella’s “Sweet Transvestite from Transylvania Meets Tweed” design."

• "... the big prize this week ... his or her design produced and sold exclusively to those elitist snobs - American Express cardholders (hello, me!) ... monies raised would support the CFDA. CDFA? (go there and see the list) Ooohhh...the ... So not like a charity for the sick, or children, or animals, or disabled veterans? .....huh."
• "Leanne probably imagines herself as a fierce jungle cat, but really, she's more like a hamster."
• "What was Joe thinking? This was a real piece of garbage. It looked cheap, was too sparkly, and the back seaming was ass."

one girl's opinion ... nice epi8 recap. and as usual, great recaps of each designer's creation. (and she'll continue posting recaps even given that she has started grad school. awesome that she take time out to post her recaps!)

cliffieland ... epi8 recap snark at its best! as with ddust's recap, i sit back and read and chuckle and all that. o.k. - this week's theme - "agent (insert number here) - specialty: (insert here)" in the spirit of past episodes (6 with drag names, 7 with voted most likely to, ...) also, enjoy the other posts here. oo-oo-oo! great use of "circumlocutory" as in "...“special guest” and out comes ... Tim Gunn. Once we recover from that shock, the circumlocutory mentor tells the gang that they’re all headed off ...".
