ReLo'd to BA from SD

in late 2006, relocated my angst, business, and social life to NoCal from SoCal ... just a 40-something chick in the 'burbs of the SF bay area who randomly posts about random topics ... the occasional quirky stories of dating (or not) at 40-ish, work-week cubeopolis frivolity, rambling musings on nostalgika, and the occasional introspective moments in life.(thanks for visiting! >p, b)

After reading that confession, I was blinking so fast, if you shined a light in my ear you could have used my eyes as strobe lights. You calligraphied endless love for the dude who Round-Upped you? Waste of a good stroke, if you ask me.

"waste of good stroke ..."?!
i'm torn in my response to sacto floyd ...
"HIL-F**KING-ARIOUS! sheer brilliance!" ... or
"STFU, i was 17 FFS!!!"

so here's an interesting tidbit - albeit boring - several years ago, dude found me on linkedin, google-stalked - and given i was traveling back/forth from your little town (YES! he resides in YOUR TOWN), i met him for din (and that's it).

(btw, glad you survived the confession. i figured i might as well share my confession with me 6 little readers. ha!)

Um, about the confession.....I want to know what happened when you gave him this calligraphied creation? Or do you still have it?

Also, hormones make us do crazy things....

With your big event having happened in the early '80s, before the age of the landing strip, I think "Welcome to the Jungle" would have been more apropos than Lionel's duet with Diana "I'm Not Michael" Ross.

to jenm ... when i handed him the lyrics? - i have no recollection of his reaction. calligraphied (old english red letters with black outline - i went for the gold on this one! f**king hormones!) lyrics on poster board is wherever. my guess? it's landfill material that has since biodegraded with ink leaching into the soil.

to sacto floyd ... YOU SCARE ME!!! (that's why we **heart** you)
