it's a small city world ...

... this little 'burb i live in with our trusty law enforcement community

recall last year ... when there was an eventual eviction process that played out in court last march '06. why? so i could live in the 'burbs.

small world #1 ... a county deputy sheriff at the courthouse on 05/24? turns out we knew him. went to h.s. with him.

small world #2 ... another county deputy sheriff at the 05/16 eviction/sheriff's lockout? turns out we knew one of them, also. went to h.s. with him.

small world #3 ... a sgt who works with 2 officers that dealt with yesterday's event (08/20)? turns out he went to the same h.s. - was in the same class as my bro.

well ... i'll say this much - at least i'm much calmer than a few hours ago, and i'm maintaining some grace by not disclosing of whom the child-picture is. (i'll leave that to the experts.) and if it wasn't for the dad & mom of moki (woof), i'd never have known the whole h.s./law enforcement connections.
