80s folks ... REPRESENT!
this is such a camera moment ... not to mention the nostalgika of it all. also - old photos are definitely worth more than their weight! (bring 'em on!) a must to jog the memories of alums.
family friendly ... yes, it is family friendly to bring the kids (and anyone that acts like a kid)
a definite not-to-be-missed ... if you are in the area, and perhaps worthy of a drive or flight over.
before and/or after ... a few of us are already talking about getting together for drinks (coffee, tea, i.d. required, whatever). larry blake's before, perhaps? wherever after?

Since you're going to meet with a bunch of folks from the old country, maybe someone there can answer this question:
Why is a person from the Philippines called a Filipino, not a Philippino? Where did the "F" come from, and what happened to the "Ph" and the third "p"? Come to think of it, where did "Pilipino" come from? And would my half Japanese, half F/Ph/Pilipino daughter be called a "Jalipino" (would it be pronounced like the pepper, because she often is fiery in spirit)?
Are we suffering from an identity crisis of some kind? This has bugged me for most of my life, and my wife just recently asked me -- one of the few times I couldn't come up with an answer, even a wrong one!
