r|break: what i learned at 5AM (PDT) on a thursday ...

... in no special order

the sprinkler system ... at my place does go on at 5AM (just like it is programmed to do so each thursday)

paddy's coffee house ... is really open 24 hours

older ... is how i feel, because unlike an all-nighter during college (oh, two decades ago) where i recall still having boundless energy, i'm fairly certain this will not be the case throughout the duration of this day or remainder of this week.

commuters ... are on the road by 5AM, and from the cars i saw that were passing by the coffee house, i'd say even by 4:30 AM

east coast friends ... did not answer their mobile phones so i could impress call them and say "top o' the morning ... !"

birds ... are up yip-yapping, chirping, singing, and whatever else is being vocalized - and might i add that there are quite the variety of birds yapping it up in my neighborhood

dark ... are the skies while the street lamps are working

project work ... for this one client was successfully e-mailed; however, after re-reading the e-mail that directed me what to do, i'm hoping it's still timely.

house cleaning fairies ... did not visit my place; it still looks the same. (actually, that's not quite accurate; i wouldn't know if they did visit and leave things.)

choice ... is at hand to nap or to stay up (... i see a pillow or two in the near future)
